this week has been well

quick

ive been studiuosly avoiding my studies (guilt guilt)

but it seems that im addicted to the rush of the last minute stress drama ( mumble mumble ...workin on it ..mumble... )

AHEM

but been getting alot o "work" done in the meantime :D lol not that its an excuse as in - o well ive been actually applying meself in this area o my life so its okay to ignore the all the other stuff :)

nope , cause spirituality used as an escape is no better than any other kind o drug / addiction really

moral knee jerk generalisation aside < grin >

i suppose ive been over extending my holiday because well the idea of free time is nice isnt it - until you actually HAVE free time , a huge part of my resistence to doing things that need to be done - right up until the last minute that is -

is the what next question - having something looming ahead of you is in a perverse way , kind of comforting really , or at leas thats how the drama script plays out, in REALITY , it pays to do things as they arise ( or when the time is right ) or so the collection of connections in my head seem to think so

in the epic of the "the fourth way" reading adventure - ive progressed a whole 4 pages LOL not that its heavy reading or anything :) ( not that it's a factor - ive stormed through some ectic books in my day ) the problem here is - i think i get it , i mean alot of what the bloke is saying makes an awful amount o sense , infact dont we just love people who agree with us :p , but yea having an experiance / insite and reading about the underlying principal ( the difference/interplay between knowledge and being ) tends make one pause to digest as it were

o btw , im officaily a statistic - just finnished 'arry potter and the something or other (its the first one o the series ive actually bothered to pick up ) and im impressed

despite the the howling of the fundies ( ive noticed ive got alot of unresolved anger when it comes to conservative assholes - not that liberal assholes are any better mind you, its just that ive noticed that fundie x-tian ranting pushes my buttons more than anything else really - yes am workin on it ) who want to light the old stake again

it was a very nice piece of escapism ( the analaysis of the meta story is also quite nifty - a socioty on edge and in fear - sound familiar? ) also lets just say its something id gladly let my kids read , if i had any in abt umm 50 years or so is fine by me LOL

because it takes rather shocking stands on certain subjects - violence is bad , so is unreasoning prejudice and sterotyping , the heroes us wit and wisdom over brute force - no wonder the religious right are up in arms ( we cant have liberated self actualisers running around being happy now can we ?)

seeing as life is too beautifull to end things off on a sarky note
